Unfortunately, No. There are no application fee waivers when you apply to a Masters’s program in Sweden.
When you apply to a Swedish University Master´s programme or course you generally need to make your application on Sweden’s national university application website: www.universityadmissions.se.
As part of this process, citizens of countries outside the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA), and Switzerland must pay an application fee of SEK 900 (approximately EUR 90) to University Admissions in Sweden.
No matter how many programs or courses you apply to, there is only one application cost per semester. To ensure that your application is handled and taken into consideration, you must pay the application fee by the date established by University Admissions in Sweden. It should be noted that you might not need to pay the application fee if you are already enrolled at a Swedish university at the time of your application.
Is there any other way to get an application fee waiver?
Yes, there is no application fee for residents of the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA), or Switzerland. But you have to provide identification as a citizen (and fee-exempt status). You can upload a scanned copy of your original passport page to universityadmissions.se or mail a copy of your passport page to University Admissions in Sweden. This must be received before the document deadline.
Let me know if you have any other questions about the application fees.
Have a great one.
